About Us:
There are seventy-four units at the Highlands at Ocean Point condominiums, most of them 'flats' along with many townhouses also.  We are situated on four acres of manicured grass and have many beautiful gardens.   We are across the street from Arnold Beach, a section of which is private to residents of the Highlands and neighboring Dunes condos.  There is a boat launch road on Arnold Beach, and a rocky outcropping that is great for fishing and diving.  We also have a pool, clubhouse, and two tennis courts, as well as a fresh water pond and dock.  Amphitheater seats are built into the hillside leading to the pond.

HIGHLANDS POINT OF VIEW

Canadian harbor seals spend their winters on the rocks around Manomet Point, and feast on the local lobsters and clams.  Local residents feast year round on a variety of fresh fish at The Lobster Pound, a classic shingle shack that sits atop the point.

Plymouth Harbor, about 5 miles north, is a bustling center of shops and restaurants surrounding the marina, historic sites and commercial fishing and whale-watching piers.

HISTORY:

Our property was a renowned resort hotel called Mayflower on the Bay during the early part of the twentieth century.   Prosperous people from Boston, Providence and New York, many of them famous, would come to enjoy all the amenities, the beach, ponds, horseback riding.  Rocky Marciano used to train for fights by running on our beach.  Others would watch plays and concerts performed on the Scoax Pond dock while sitting in the amphitheater seats built into the hillside.
